Minister Prof.Sri.C.Raveendranath will inaugurate
the function

Karimba:GHSS Karimba is going to conduct Kongad legislative constituency Vidhya Vikas Vijayolsavam in their own school today.Kerala Education minister Prof.Sri.C.Raveendranath will inaugurate the function at 4 PM.It is the first time that a minister is going to inaugurate a programme in Karimba school.The minister also distribute  the prizes to the students who had got the excellence in academic as well as in the field of arts,sports,work experience and science fest.As many as four hundred students from various schools in the constituency such as  LSS,USS toppers, SSLC,PLUS TWO and VHSE A plus winners will participate.In this occasion the top performing schools under the constituency will also get the awards for excellence.

Sri.K.V.Vijayadas,the honourable MLA of Kongad will preside the function.District Panchayat president Smt.Advocate. K.Santhakumari will be the chief guest and vidhya vikas convenor P.Rajagopalan will present the report.The programme starts with a prayer by the school choir group and some cultural programmes by the other students.

VIDHYAVIKAS

Vidhya vikas is a flagship project implemented from 2012 onwards to resolve the educational backwardness in the Kongad assembly constituency.Extensive projects are being implemented under the supervision of three tier panchayats,DIETs and education departments for betterment of schools from pre primary to higher secondary schools in the constituency.Schools have become high tech through public education protection programme which has resulted in a large increase in the number of children in government schools.
